At this year's American Sign Language Camp, the theme was all about animals.
The kids were treated to a special guest, a mini horse named Misty. "The key to good learning is having fun while you do it. Our goal is to provide a fun educational experience for kids that we can connect with learning sign language." says Mary Ann Stefko, Western PA School for the Deaf. The Western Pennsylvania School for the Deaf holds the week-long camp once a year at their Camp Hill office so area children who are deaf or hard of hearing can improve their sign language vocabulary.
